How is it possible to compete with major record labels and streaming platforms as an independent artist using the methods in Fanbase Explosion?
It's simple - the business models of record labels, distribution, online stores and streaming platforms were never designed to benefit artists. If you simply bypass them and market directly to new potential fans, you stand to make a much larger chunk of income because you aren't surrendering massive percentages of your revenue to companies that don't actually help you grow your fanbase or sell your music and merch. This advantage allows you to harness the power of advertising to build your own audience on your own platform. Once you are able to convert a large enough percentage of your audience into customers, the ads you run can pay for themselves multiple times over, allowing you to reinvest your profits and create a Fan Feedback Loop that rapidly grows your audience in an automated way.
I've been burned before by companies offering promotion. Why should I trust you?
Fanbase Explosion is not a methodology designed by music industry middlemen looking to make a quick buck off of you, promising the world but delivering little but hot air and vanity social media metrics. You simply can't pay your bills with like likes, plays and followers. It's not about getting press, exposure, prestige, or any of the things that you might think will help you but rarely end up actualy helping you. I developed it because I am an artist myself who struggled for decades to find a no-nonsense online marketing method that actually works for driving sales and getting customers. I stand behind this claim with my F-Bomb Guarantee (explained below).
What if I don't want to risk money on ads?
Running ads is not expensive in the beginning. We test audiences out at $1 per day each to find out how well they work. We only increase the budgets of ads that produce a return. If you aren't wiling to risk $1 to $3 per day on ads to find potential new fans and customers, then Fanbase Explosion is not for you.
What if I'm talented but I don't have enough fans yet or I don't know how to monetize my fanbase?
Fanbase Explosion was written specifically for talented, driven artists with at least one professional recording who are serious about building a business around their music and are willing to spend time and money doing it. If that's you, you can save yourself decades of frustration by getting and reading this book.
Does the book cover how to succeed on Spotify?
No. As you will come to understand from reading the book, I do not recommend you base your career growth on getting royalties from Spotify plays. Spotify only pays artists about $0.003 (one-third of a cent) per stream so you need about 1 million streams to make $3,000. In contrast, you can make the same amount selling a $30 merch package to 100 customers.
What if I'm not interested in making money with music and I'm just a hobbyist? Will this method still work?
No. Fanbase Explosion is only for musicians who want to become true professionals, not hobbyists or amateurs. It requires a deep commitment to building a business around your music and you've got to be in it for the long haul to make it work for you.
If I enjoy the book and want help implementing the strategy, is there a way to work with you in a deeper capacity?
Yes. There are several ways you can work with me in a deeper capacity, depending on your situation. There are multiple courses I offer that cover how to execute all the little nitty-gritty technical details of how to build the automated digital marketing systems that the book talks about. Some of these courses include group coaching video calls where you can share your screen interact with me in real time over recorded Zoom calls and get questions answered or help with technical challenges you may run into as you implement.
